As a part of Alumni Talk Week 2024, offline guest lecture was organized by Alumni Coordination Committee of Babu Banarasi Das College of Dental Sciences on 10th of October 2024 in the Conference Hall of BBD College of Dental Sciences at 10 am. Dr Akash Rajput, alumnus of BDS 2011-2017 batch and MDS in Dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was invited for the same. Dr Akash Rajput is an Assistant Professor at Career Postgraduate Institute of Dental Science. Title of the talk was “Contemporary Management of Oral Cancer: A Comprehensive Guide”.
Welcome address was done by Dr Jiji George, Prof. Dept. of Oral Pathology and Co-ordinator of Alumni Cell BBD College of Dental Sciences. The speaker was introduced by Dr. Priya Singh, School Co-ordinator of Alumni Committee of BBDCODS. She addressed the gathering and enlightened the importance of “Contemporary management of oral cancer a comprehensive guide”.
Dr Akash Rajput discussed the various aspects of Oral Cancer and presented interesting cases which was enthusiastically attended by post graduates, interns, students and faculty. There was a short question answer session where the queries were addressed.
